Overdue Update!

Ok, so I am a bad blog updater now...just so busy with little Miss Shea! The past 3 1/2 weeks have gone by so fast! We are adjusting to very little sleep and keeping up with a newborn's sleeping, eating and diaper schedule... but we are loving every second with her! She is the most beautiful little girl and every day we still ask ourselves "Is she really ours?!" We are so in love with her! Shea has been a very good baby. Whenever she cries there is always a reason for it and we're getting better at figuring her out. Shea has also become quite the social butterfly! Here are some activities we have been up to the past few weeks:
- Shea attended her first birthday party for her friend Emmerich! There were lots of friends there for her to meet!

-Shea had a few appointments at the clinic and of course her "2 week" appointment where we found out she is up to a whopping 6 lbs 4 oz. For weight she falls in the 5 percentile, height is in the 50 percentile, and head circumference is in the 25 percentile....she's definitely a little peanut like her mom was!
- We visited the teachers at mommy's school.
- Shea had many visitors to our house over the past weeks...friends & family.
- We have visited grandma & grandpa Kraft & auntie Sarah many times.
- We went for a walk in our new stroller that we love!

- Shea is already a little model and mommy's friend Lindsey took her newborn pictures at our house. We love them and I will post some of my favorites!
- Shea attended Grandma Kraft's retirement party and met lots of grandma & grandpa's friends!
- She went to her first wedding reception for her great uncle Rick and new great aunt Annette.
- Shea had her first big road trip up to Karlstad to see Grandma & Grandpa Olson, Uncle Zach, and she got to meet Great Grandma Olson! The trip went well until the last 20 minutes on the way there and on the way back when she got very hungry...look out when that happens, a pacifier can't fool that girl! :)

- On the way back from Karlstad we stopped in Grand Forks to meet my good friend Erika's new baby boy Finn, who was born on Saturday. Erika and I have decided that Shea & Finn will get married some day and you can already tell from the picture Finn is smitten by Shea. :)

This weekend will be a nice quite weekend at home with mom & dad. Auntie Sarah will probably be over a lot too since she started her new job in Alexandria, MN and she misses Shea so much she will probably come home to visit most weekends! :) Shea misses cuddling with her too in the basement while Mom takes naps! :)

Until next time...
